CNBC's Steve Liesman hosts the Council for Economic Education's National Economics Challenge, an economics quiz challenge for high school students.

Almost 13,000 high school students in the U.S. and China entered the Council for Economic Education’s 2023 National Economics Challenge. Now, the final 32 standing will compete in the National Championships. The heated quiz bowl is hosted by CNBC's Steve Liesman, who may find the next Jerome Powell or Janet Yellen. There is a beginner (David Ricardo division) and an advanced (Adam Smith division) competition, with four teams of four going head-to-head in each.
