New York City opens tent city to deal with migrant influx

New York just opened a new migrant camp. The camp comes after Mayor Eric Adams declared a state of emergency over the sudden influx of migrants sent here by southern governors. The facility is on New York City's Randalls Island, and is made up of three giant tents. So far 20,000 migrants have been bused to the city, and that has crowded an already-stressed shelter system.
