A judge overturned Marvin Haynes' conviction after he spent almost 20 years in prison. Haynes was convicted of first-degree murder in the killing of 55-year-old Randy Sherer at a Minneapolis flower shop. The case against Haynes relied heavily on eyewitness testimony. One witness later said he never got a good look at the suspect, and another recanted his testimony.
