Five American hostages freed from a deal between the U.S. and Iran are returning to American soil. Secretary of State Antony Blinken described an emotional conversation with them following their release early this morning. We'll hear from him and Republican reaction coming up. Congress is back to work today, facing a September 30th deadline to fund the government. The House Rules Committee is meeting this afternoon to discuss a short-term deal reached between Republicans from the Freedom Caucus and Main Street Caucus that will fund the government through October 31st. And tonight is the premiere of our new series, Books That Shaped America.
