There is uncertainty in Washington this week as Republicans voted down a measure to raise the debt ceiling amid the backdrop of a potential government shutdown. Alex Ross, senior advisor on innovation during the Obama administration, joins to explain how the spending package could have less of an impact on inflation than the infrastructure bill.

The crossing at the U.S.-Mexico border is showing no signs of slowing down as a new waves of Haitian migrants make their way to the southern border.
