China has conducted military exercises in Taiwan as a reaction to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's trip to the island earlier this month. Military tensions have now been heightened as the country announced plans to participate in joint military drills and war games alongside Russia this week. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) is the latest American lawmaker to visit Taiwan. She joins the Rundown to discuss why she believes the United States must recognize Taiwan's independence and the growing threat of Chinese global domination. She also raises concerns about an "axis of evil" forming, made up of enemies to the United States.

After the FBI seized documents from former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, his legal team has requested a special master to review the documents in question to ensure the Justice Department’s investigation does not use privileged, private materials taken during the search. Now, both legal parties wait in anticipation for this Thursday’s hearing where the U.S. District judge will decide whether the DOJ must comply with the Trump legal team’s motion for a special master. Fox New Legal Contributor Jonathan Turley joins to break down the role a ‘special master’ would play in this investigation into former President Trump, missteps by the DOJ in handling this sensitive case and the need for greater oversight of the FBI.
