Following Donald Trump’s latest indictment over his attempts to overturn  the 2020 presidential election, Trump has been adamant at painting himself as a victim of political persecution. Right-wing media has also been echoing those sentiments to the former president’s base. MSNBC’s Alicia Menendez is joined by the President of Media Matters, Angelo Carusone, to discuss the dangers of calling legal action against Trump politically motivated, and what could stem from increased talk of retribution.
