GOOD NEWS: Local newspapers rescued from closure in South Dakota, Wyoming

More than 30 communities across the West and Midwest learned two weeks ago that they were losing their local newspapers after their shared owner abruptly shut down. But two buyers in South Dakota and Wyoming swooped in to save a dozen of the papers, thanking significant readership as the reason for purchasing them.
