The Senate Judiciary Committee postponed a vote on acting Attorney General Todd Blanche’s nomination as two outgoing Republicans, Sen. John Cornyn and Sen. Thom Tillis, are “threatening to tank” the judiciary’s vote. Blanche’s nomination to permanently head the Department of Justice needs the support of either Cornyn or Tillis to make it out of the committee to a vote by the full Senate, assuming all Democrats remain opposed. MS NOW Congressional Reporter Mychael Schnell provides the latest from outside Cornyn's office on Capitol Hill.
