Mika: Snap Inc. will soon follow Meta’s new child safety measures

On Wednesday, Meta agreed to pay up to $17.1 billion to dozens of states over claims it built products addictive and harmful to kids and then misled the public about them. As part of the agreement, Meta will enforce stronger child safety measures, including time limits and muted notifications during school hours. On Morning Joe, Mika shares exclusive reporting that Snap Inc. plans to follow Meta’s lead and accept stronger protections as early as Friday.
