Trump & Musk’s aid cuts are costing lives, former USAID boss Samantha Power says

After 18 months, Donald Trump and Elon Musk's DOGE officially came to an end on July 4, but the fallout from its cuts continues. Boston University's Global Impact Counter estimates the dismantling of the USAID contributed to more than 780,000 preventable deaths worldwide. Former USAID Administrator and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power joins MS NOW's Lawrence O'Donnell to discuss the human toll of those cuts and the worsening Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
