Trump calls National Guard shooting an 'act of terror,' orders 500 more troops to D.C.

Two National Guard members are in critical condition after a "brazen and targeted" shooting near the White House. The suspect is an Afghan national who worked with U.S. forces during the war in Afghanistan, according to the CIA. The shooting is being investigated as an act of terror.
