There is a link on 13labs.org that no person can see. The site’s robots.txt file forbids it. Only software that reads every link and ignores the rules ever finds it — and when it does, it is counted as a machine.
The trap went live on 21 October 2026 with 13 Labs, the skunk works of Novel Cognition, the AI strategy and entity-architecture practice founded by Guerin Green. Inside thirty minutes it caught a scraper on Google Cloud dressed as Chrome on a Pixel 6, fifteen pages into its visit. The Internet Archive’s crawler walked in too. The live tally of humans, machines and AI go-betweens is public in the Signal Room.
