This fall, C-SPAN is launching America’s Book Club, a dynamic new weekly primetime television series hosted by renowned author, civic leader, and interviewer David M. Rubenstein.
C-SPAN will tape America’s Book Club before live audiences at some of the nation’s most iconic public libraries and cultural landmarks – repositories of our nation's history and ideas - including the Library of Congress, the Folger Shakespeare Library, and the National Archives. Each week, viewers will be invited into thought-provoking conversations with leading authors, policymakers, business innovators, and cultural figures—exploring the ideas that shaped America’s past, challenge the nation’s present, and inspire our future.
