Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said Americans should not protest if former President Trump is indicted and arrested in connection to a hush-money investigation in New York.
"I don't think people should protest this," he told reporters Sunday during House Republicans' retreat in Orlando. "I think President Trump, if you talk to him, he doesn't believe that either."
