Washington Today (10-4-23): Reps. Jordan (R-OH) & Scalise (R-LA) officially enter race for Speaker

Two prominent House Republicans enter the race for Speaker: Jim Jordan of Ohio, Judiciary Committee chair and Steve Scalise of Louisiana, Majority Leader. It's a race that came about after the House's vote on Tuesday to remove Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), first time in American history such a motion to vacate the speaker's chair has been successful.

We will hear from Rep. Jordan and talk about the election of a new speaker with Politico Congressional Reporter Anthony Adragna (4).
