Senator Tim Scott, Democrat of South Carolina, kicked off his presidential campaign today. In Washington, the debt limit debate continued between Republicans and the White House. And the NAACP issued a travel warning against Florida for people of color in "direct response to … DeSantis’ aggressive attempts to erase Black history and to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in Florida schools," the NAACA issued in a statement.
