Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi makes a state visit to the U.S, including a State Dinner at the White House and speech to a Joint Meeting of Congress. President Joe Biden saying of India, “On the issues that matter most that will define the future, our nations look to one another including on critical regional and global issues.”

At a joint news conference, the Prime Minister is asked about critics of his human rights record, and President Biden gets a question about calling Chinese President Xi Jinping a 'dictator'.
