Washington Today (7-18-23): Special Counsel tells Donald Trump he is a target in Jan. 6 attack probe

Former President Donald Trump, a 2024 republican presidential candidate, says he has received a letter from Special Counsel Jack Smith telling him he is a target of the grand jury investigation into efforts to overturn Joe Biden victory in the 2020 presidential election. And Donald Trump says he expects to face criminal charges in the case.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is asked at a town hall in New Hampshire held by a group called No Labels how seriously he is considering running for president on the organization's third part ticket.
