Washington Today (8-23-23): Failed Russian coup leader Yevgeny Prigozhin killed in plane crash

Russian mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin, who recently led a failed coup against Russian President Vladimir Putin, is reportedly killed in a small plane crash in Russia.

Rudy Guiliani, former personal attorney to former U.S. president Donald Trump, travel to the Fulton County jail in Atlanta, Georgia to turn himself in on racketeering charges related to an alleged plot to change Donald Trump's loss in Georgia in the 2020 presidential election to a victory and keep Donald Trump in office.

First Republican presidential primary debate is tonight in Milwaukee. Eight candidates are scheduled. Donald Trump is not one of them by his own choice.
