Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky comes to in Washington, meeting with House leadership and a majority of Senators, then going to the White House to speak to President Biden.
President Biden has requested $24 billion in new military and humanitarian aid for Ukraine for its ongoing war with Russia. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and the White House want it to be part of stopgap government funding. Speaker McCarthy says it should be voted on separately.
