Senator Mitch McConnell on Retirement

After briefing reporters on the Senate Republican agenda, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (KY) responded to reporter questions on his health. "I think Dr. Monahan covered the subject fully. You've had a chance to read it. I don't have anything to add to it and I think it should answer any reasonable question," said Leader McConnell.

He continued to share that he plans to serve out his term as Leader and finish his Senate term. This is the senator's first press briefing since his most recent medical incident where he froze in front of cameras in Kentucky.
